Vault Standard, Plus and DR are designed to keep three copies of your backups: one on your own backup hardware or an MPM Vault Edge appliance for fast local restores, one in our primary Vault in Atlanta, Georgia, and one in our Secondary Vault in Tampa, Florida. Vault Cloud keeps the Atlanta and Tampa copies, with no hardware at your site. Data stays in U.S. data centers.

MPM Recovery Pod
When the building is lost, your servers run in Atlanta
Vault DR reserves capacity for your critical servers on the MPM Recovery Pod. If fire, flood, a hurricane or ransomware takes out your site, we restart those servers as virtual machines in Atlanta, and your staff reach them over a private VPN on a network isolated for your agency.

- 01Prepare. Your encryption key is created in your presence and held by you. We configure your on-site backup hardware or Vault Edge appliance; Vault Cloud needs none.
- 02Protect. Backups run on schedule, encrypted before they leave your building, then copied to Atlanta and on to Tampa.
- 03Prove. Every server is test-restored before go-live. Plus and DR tiers drill quarterly, with written reports.
- 04Operate. Continuous monitoring, an alert within the hour on any missed backup, and monthly reports.
- 05Recover. File, server or full-site recovery, on your hardware or on the MPM Recovery Pod.
